Ikua Purdy Monument

This monument honors Ikua Purdy, a famous Hawaiian Paniolo (cowboy), who in 1908 went to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
He traveled all the way from the Big Island of Hawaii to win the championship of the world in steer roping.
